Stuff

So, while I (obviously) have other stuff to do, I've been messing around, mostly with gifs. Love doing the simple ones. Because, you know, short attention span and such.

Pi

Graduation gift, based on the book Life of Pi.

Trainrobbery

Sketches for a hypothetical interactive installation in a local neighborhood. Sort of an inverted game of snake, where players chase a train on illuminated and touch-sensitive tiles, which becomes shorter and moves faster as it gets hit. School assignment.

Snowden's Secret

This little piece is currently hanging in the halls of the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies at the Radboud University Nijmegen as part of a small exhibit on the soul. Which is a terrible theme, so I made something based on Heller's Catch 22,, about decay and death and all such nonsense. I am such a rebel, people.

Yossarian was cold, too, shivering uncontrollably. He felt goose pimples clacking all over him as he gazed down despondently at the grim secret Snowden had spilled all over the messy floor. It was easy to read the message in his entrails. Man was matter, that was Snowden’s secret. Drop him out a window and he’ll fall. Set fire to him and he’ll burn. Bury him and he’ll rot, like other kinds of garbage. That was Snowden’s secret. Ripeness was all.
