Fakin' Bacon

Some work for school. And stuff. Things are heating up for final assessments, so obviously I'm using my precious timeto update the blog.

'Still life' based on the inside of a garbage-can. Welp, so much for realism. Like this a lot, though.

Life-sized replica of a piece by Francis Bacon (life-sized meaning 200 by 150 cm.). Contrary to the details (earlier post), which I made in oils on canvas, this is acrylics on paper. Still a bitch to do, though.

Sketch for a chase scene in sequential art-class.

Aaaaaaand a little doodle in photoshop.

...and then some more.

And because Blogger's being annoying with upload-limits, here's the rest.

Splijtstof-illustrations

Since it has been released last week, here are my illustrations for the latest issue of Splijtstof. There wasn't a real theme going on, so I did some freestylin'.

Also, I'll try to add some color to this blog soon. Things are getting really black and white.

Back to work

So, apparently it's been a good three weeks since my last update. Time to pick up the pace. Again. Just some life drawings and some stuff from my sketchbook, but it's something.

More sequentials

Parts three and four, the second scene from my short fairytale. Up for some revising, due to some troublesome readability that needs fine-tuning.

Sequential friday

The first two pages composing the first scene of a little comic for sequential art-class. Based on a short fairytale I wrote for a previous class.
